Mathew Verrengia, Managing Director, Partner, and Senior Wealth Management Advisor at Hightower, brings over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry to the team. Prior to joining Hightower, Mathew was an Investment Associate and an integral member of Pamela L. Abraham & Associates at Merrill Lynch since 2002. He advises clients on estate and insurance planning as well as mortgage and liability management.

Mathew earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^® certification in 2010, and is a graduate of the University of Central Florida. Before joining Merrill Lynch, he worked at American General Finance, Ameriquest Mortgage, and Alliance Financial Group.

Mathew is a “techie” at heart; he stays current on all aspects of technology and greatly assists clients with their technology needs. In his spare time, he is a dedicated gym rat who enjoys CrossFit, strength training, Yoga, and HIIT. In multiple years, he has ranked in the top 2% of athletes of his age group in the annual worldwide CrossFit Open.
